STORY THEATRE STORY THEATRE I (grades Pre-K - Kindergarten) Your TINY STAR will learn the art of role playing by bringing their favorite stories to life through the use of costume
pieces, puppets and imagination. Story Theatre is based on popular fairy tales that the class will read together and then
re-enact, using fun props and creativity. A short excerpt will be performed right here on the Forum Stage at the end-of-semester
FORUM STARS SHOWCASE! A terrific introduction to the performing arts! Children must be at least 4
½ years old by September 1. Instructor - Kat Davis. Thursday, 4:00 - 5:00 pm,

STORY THEATRE II (grades 1 & 2): Your LITTLE STAR will learn the
art of role playing by bringing stories to life through the use of costume pieces, puppets and imagination. At
this level, story theatre involves both enacting well-known fairy tales and also creating original tales.. Emphasis is on
story-building, character development, and linear thinking. A short excerpt will be performed right here
on the Forum Stage at the end-of-semester FORUM STARS SHOWCASE! Instructor - Kat Davis.

THEATRE GAMES THEATRE GAMES (grades
2 & 3): Improvisation and creativity are the root of all fine acting and are important life skills
too! In Theatre Games, your STAR will be challenged to create characters, communicate non-verbally and
develop focus, memory, body awareness, sensory awareness and trust. It's 60 minutes packed full of fun and excitement
that builds your child’s social skills! Instructor - Kat Davis. Friday
4:00 - 5:00pm, $195
THEATRE GAMES II (grades 4 & 5): Improvisation

Emphasis is on listening and becoming a more effective receiver of life. It's 60 minutes packed full of fun and excitement

RISING STARS ACTING & IMPROV RISING STARS ACTING & IMPROV (grades
6-8): Like life, live theatre is full of surprises! This class prepares your STAR for
the unknown using theatre games and improvisation exercises to increase performance skills, awaken creativity, and encourage
students to think on their feet. Scene work, monologue performance and audition skills are emphasized.
Your STAR will be challenged to create believable characters, communicate non-verbally, and understand action and reaction
all while developing focus, memory, body awareness, and trust. It's 90 minutes packed
full of exciting play and intensive study. Stars will be featured in the Forum Stars Showcase at the end
of each semester. Instructor - Kat Davis, Thursday 6:30 - 8:00pm, $295
TEEN
STARS ACTING & IMPROV TEEN STARS ACTING & IMPROV: This class is designed
for the more mature actor. Acting exercises, sense memory and character development assignments are just
a few of the tools that your TEEN STARS will be taught to get the most out of every scene. Scene
work and monologue performance are an important element of this weekly class. There will be homework on
occasion. Stars will be featured in the Forum Stars Showcase at the end of each semester. Tuesday 5:15-6:45,

STARS ON STAGE, JR. (Grades 7-12): GREASE! (School edition):
The STARS ON STAGE program
is an intensive course in Musical Theatre, culminating in a full-scale musical production performed ath the end of the semester.
Auditions for Grease are
on Jan. 24 from 6-9pm, Callbacks January 26, 6-9pm. STARS ON STAGE
candidates should prepare a short musical theater song that can either be sung with the provided accompanist (don't forget
to bring the music in the correct key!) or with a accompaniment CD/Tape.
STARS ON STAGE PARTICIPANTS MAY
NOT HAVE ANY SCHEDULING CONFLICTS DURING THE REHEARSAL OF THE PRODUCTION. Rehearsals will
begin on Sunday, January 31 and will be held every Sunday from 6:00 - 8:00pm & Tuesdays from 5-7:30pm.
Tech
week is MAY 16-20. Performances on MAY 21, 22 & 23. STARS ON STAGE
- KIDS: (Grades 1-6): DISNEY'S CINDERELLA, KIDS:
The STARS ON STAGE program
