MUSIC FOR AARDVARKS.
(ages 6mo - 5yrs.) Music for Aardvarks is a refreshing alternative to the traditional music
class for kids. It is distinct from other children's music programs in that all classes are based around original
and hip songs, rhytms and chants. With influences of rock, blues, ballads, folk, jazz and pop, Aardvark songs uniquely
reflect and celebrate the lives of children growing up today. The music is innovative, intelligent and irresistably

STORY THEATRE I (grades Pre-K - Kindergarden)
Your TINY STAR will learn the art of role playing by bringing their
favorite stories to life through the use of costume pieces, music and imagination. Story Theater is based on popular Fairy
Tales that the class will read together and then they will be assigned roles and re-enact the story using fun props
and creativity.of-semester

DANCE
FOR JOY! (PRE-K - Kindergarden): A
lyrical dance program that motivates children to express themselves through their minds and their bodies. Building strength,
coordination, flexibility, and endurance is the foundation to teaching movements and patterns as well as for creative
exploration of themes such as space, fairy tales, nature or even feelings. Children will learn technique while developing
an appreciation for the partnership of music in dance and choreography. Facilitated by the instructor, the students will have
the opportunity to choreograph individually and in groups. The
year will culminate in a final performance that will include some of these student choreographed dances. Instructor

READY,
SET, ACTION! I : Screenwriting Basics for Young Writers (grades 2-5) Introducing
young writers to the basics of the craft of screenwriting, students will enjoy a full semester of graduated course study,
including analyzing classic age-appropriate films and understanding how a script is the foundation for all cinema. Students
will concentrate on writing a 5-page short film, which will be read in a professional showcase at the end of the semester,
and possibly be partially filmed the following semester. Instuctor - Jana Siciliano.

ON STAGE PRESENTS DISNEY'S CINDERELLA KIDS (Grades 1-6): The Forum Theatre is thrilled to
announce DISNEY'S CINDERELLA KIDS as our STARS ON STAGE, JR. presentation. The STARS ON STAGE program is
an intensive course in Musical Theatre, culminating in a full-scale musical production performed ath the end of the semester.
Auditions are on Monday January 25th, from 5-7pm. STARS ON STAGE candidates should prepare a short musical
theater song that can either be sung with the provided accompanist (don't forget to bring the music in the correct key!)
or with a accompaniment CD/Tape. STARS ON STAGE PARTICIPANTS MAY NOT HAVE ANY SCHEDULING CONFLICTS DURING THE REHEARSAL
OF THE PRODUCTION. Rehearsals begin on February 1st and are held every Monday
from 5 - 7pm. Tech week is April 26th- 29. Performances are April 30, May 1 & 2nd. $350

sensory awareness, action and reaction and trust. It's 90 minutes packed full of fun and excitement adn intensive

RISING
STARS STAND-UP COMEDY (grades 6-8): Everyone thinks they're a comedian. Now you really can be!
Put your smart-alec to good use and harness his power for good. This 60 minute class is a great introduction to the
world of stand-up comedy. Your STAR will learn the method behind comedy, the structure of a joke and develop 3 minutes
of their very own stand-up routine to be performed at the Forum Showcase. Instructor - Peter Loewy, Monday 5:15 -
6:15pm, $275
RISING STARS MUSICAL THEATRE ENSEMBLE (grades 6-12): Your STARS will perform
their favorite group numbers from the classics to the contemporary hits of today. Each number will be choreographed
in the Broadway style and performed at the end-of-semester showcase. The educational goals for this class is
to develop stage presence, confidence and vocal interpretation and stamina. No previous dance or voice training is required.
No Audition is required.. Instructor - Vicki Tripodo, Saturday 1:00 - 2:00pm, $295

TEEN STARS CLASSES: GRADES 9 -12

TEEN STARS ACTING &
IMPROV: This class is designed for the more serious actor. Acting exercises, sense memory and
character development assignments are just a few of the tools that your TEEN STARS will be taught to get the most out
of every scene. Scene work and monologue performance is also a focus of this weekly class. There
will be homework on on occasion. Stars will be featured in the Forum Stars Showcase at the end of each semester.

THE WRITE
STUFF: The Craft of Screenwriting (Grades 9-12): Older students will have the opportunity to
work together to break down and analyze the mechanics of a classic film script as well as learn the basic components of putting
together a three-act screenplay. With several rounds of rewrites, they will exit the class with either an original short film
script or a professional grade treatment for a full-length original screenplay. All screenplays will receive a showcase reading
of their scripts by professional actors at the end of the class. Instructor - Jana Siciliano. Monday

STAND-UP COMEDY
II (grade 9-12): Everyone thinks they're a comedian. Now you really can be! Put your smart-alec
